Some Days
It's like I'm standing outside the window looking in.
Things that have captured my attention lately:
Some people feeling it perfectly acceptable to make a personal attack against someone and bring up their race in the attack. These people feel its perfectly fine since a racial epithet wasn't used. Like being pissed at a Jewish person and calling them a 'Fucking Jew' was okay because Jews call themselves 'Jew'. I was told that being white I wouldn't understand because I've never - as a white male - been subjected to racial comments because you can't be white and a victim of it.
Another is that Obama can't use OSHA to effectively police work place deaths. I said that if he can make an executive order to enact portions of the DREAM Act he can certainly issue and EO to address worker deaths. I was told that Obama only uses EO's in 'extreme cases' an 'where the legislature fails to act'. I pointed out that worker deaths are certainly more extreme and a better place to use an EO than the DREAM Act. I also said that the persons logic was 'all hella fucked up'.
I'm about to say screw it all. Screw liberals and their double standards, screw politics, screw people that don't give a shit about others. Screw it all.
And it's only Monday.
